child's hairbrush if I don't want

A: The best way of using PDT-90® hair drug

with your child's knowledge and cooperation and by collecting the sample as
described in the materials provided. We do not recommend that parents try to
collect hair from their child in a secretive manner.

Q. Is all hair testing the same?
A. No. Psychemedics holds both American and European patents to detect drugs of abuse in hair such as opiates, thc, crack, pcp, ecstasy, marijuana, heroin, meth, and cocaine. Additionally, Psychemedics holds a patent that is specific to its ability to detect the presence of marijuana, the most difficult drug screening to detect in hair.
Other companies may claim the ability to detect drugs through hair analysis. However, the quality, accuracy, and reliability of these companies may be highly suspect. These companies often use less sophisticated hair drug screening tests methods, which lose most of the drug during the extraction process. These drug screening tests are obviously less precise and therefore less accurate in identifying drug users. As a result, detection capabilities may not surpass those of urine testing.
